Exact fit replacement for Ariens 22hp riding lawn mower. Easy to change out. Thankfully it is shipped with replacement mounting bolts because getting the originals out in one piece is almost impossible. Be aware that when you bolt this part in you will be self tapping the bolts in so it is daunting but goes smoothly. Great replacement product with fast delivery.
It worked, however, you have to buy self tapping screws for this. They send regular bolts like the ones on the old unit, however, this spindle isn't tapped!!!!! It's not hard once you get the self tapping screws, but why?
Part was exactly what I needed and came with all the bolts needed to install
Excellent quality, but I had to follow up when I saw the new part didn't have threaded holes in the bosses for attaching, but turns out the screws sent were self-tapping, so all is well.
